Even though Doris has a lady that helps in the kitchen, Doris loves the market and chooses to go herself. And I was lucky enough to be invited along. Doris was on a mission. She had to find just the right plates for her cookies.
While she was busy wheeling and dealing, I walked around looking at all the strange fruits and vegetables.

Those are definitely some strange looking veggies, and the chickens with the feet on them — looks like they’ve just been killed.

Hi Mary, yeah there were some strange looking veggies for sure. I do not remember the names now, and I did not write them down, but what i Do remember is that the spiney green ones were called the same as the non-prickly ones…I thought that most strange.
