Did I see correctly that you were in Washington State in July this year? If so it seems you were in Stevenson, Washington a couple of weeks before the Rally In The Gorge. Our little tire company works that event every year.

I suppose with thousands of miles under one’s belt and thousands more to go, a rally like that would have been small potatoes. If you’re ever back in the area there’s much good dualsporting in the Columbia Gorge/Giffort Pinchot Nat’l Forest. The rally is a multi-pronged event (sport bikes, sport touring, dualsport/scooter). I commend you for the courage to do what most of us dream about.
