Change of plans last week via a serendipitous email, and instead of riding to the Anza-Borrego desert I met up with my friend Igor and we spent four days riding from the LA area to the Bay area. A considerable feat seeing that he lives in Thailand. We just happened to be in the same place going the same direction at the same time. Highlights of our time together included the Bristlecone Pine Forest and Yosemite, as well as stealth camping IN BEAR COUNTRY (my favorite!)
Remember Igor? He’s Igorshen on ADVrider, and we first met in El Salvador on New Year’s Day 2010, and then later we rode into the Darien together.
Igor is a fantastic photographer, and I am happy to have some really nice pics of me riding. Thanks Igor!
thanks very much for sharing these photos. Yes I remember Igor from your south America trip, and he does take great photos.Glad you can get some “recharging time”, looks like you really enjoyed yourself.
As for back in WI, it is going to be I think the last warm weekend before the snows, 50 to 60 degrees today, so one last ride in the countryside , take care RJ
