Hey Mark,

Welcome back from YOUR awesome adventure. Yeah, sorry, I was a little busy riding up to Alaska to finish up the blog, but here I am. Two more posts about what's up next, and I'll be done (with this portion)

I'll look forward to seeing you in Sept. Mom lives in WNC and she deserves a visit after worrying about me on this trip!

Hey Alisa,
Good to see some more entries in your blog. Good to see you and Edward in the Yukon too! I thought you had decided to live in Uruguay for a while there.
What to do with my mornings now that your trip is over...???

All the best on your move and new life in Idaho. If you're ever back in Western North Carolina, look us up. If Edward ever needs a crash test dummy to beat the %$@* out of a Klim product then articulate a reasonable opinion, point him in my direction. I'm pretty hard on gear.

Take care,
Mark

Hola Mariana,

Thank you for your wonderful email! I am sad to say I am already back in the States--Oregon at the moment--but still riding!! Thanks for the medialunas invite with your family--I loved medialunas! (They were best int he afternoon with cafe con leche!)

I did NOT like riding in Buenos Aires...luckily I did not do too much of it. All the big cities make me crazy.

Keep riding!

OK, so dinner didn't work out tonight, but mmaybe we'll run into each other this weekend at the Rally. I'm going camping Friday/Friday night up near Sisters. Back this weekend.

This was one of the best posts! I really liked the photos of all the guys at the shop, Eduardo, again, the shots of BA, and you looked great with the parilla family! I was hoping of a shot of the parilla and what came off of it!
Robin, (on an S83 Blue Boulevard with black saddle bags, in case you see me around this weekend.

Hey Alisa, are you in town (Redmond, Oregon)? I am staying at my sisters here for a few weeks and bet you and Edward (?) are here for the rally. Interested in coming over for dinner tonight? (Thur).

No pressure... but just thought this up :-)....I'm cooking for my sister and her husband, just going to the store now (2:45 pm)so dinner wouldn't be ready till about 7. I know lots is going on at the fair grounds and you may want to hang out there, instead. phone: 425-273-6926, or email. Ride safe and enjoy this incredible weather. Isn't it gorgeous down here? Robin

Dear Alisa,
I am an Argentine newbie rider living in Miami, FL. I ride a Harley Davidson and read about you through the Garage Girls newsletter. I really admire your courage to make such a long trip on your own. I would never ride my bike in Buenos Aires, I think traffic is crazy, so cheers to you!
Are you staying in Buenos Aires for a couple of days? My parents live in San Isidro, 30 min. from downtown. If you need anything or if you wish to have some “mate con medialunas” you are welcome to come by their home (you have my email)
Ride Safe!

hi there, was awesome reading your blog. my husband and i are now in costa rica sat on a beach. we are heading down to argentina in the next few months and are now planning out which route to take. we decided on a ferry from santiago to pto montt (a bit of a cheat hehe) and then from there to ushuaia. i got a question for you - how much of the road from santiago to ushuaia is paved and how much of it is gravel? we want to change tyres in santiago and if the roads down south are gravel we might just put knobbies on :p

happy travels :)
